Support the Literary Freedom Project
Your support of the Literary Freedom Project through the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs has enabled us to host in-person book discussions in Hunts Point, Morrisania, West Farms, Kingsbridge, Westchester Square, Olinville, and Mott Haven.
As we strive to expand our reach throughout the Bronx, we invite you to support LFP with a member item contribution. Your generous support will help us purchase books for distribution to participants, establish more book clubs in your community, and forge partnerships with existing community-based organizations.
This year, One Book One Bronx honors the lasting legacy of activist, scholar, writer, and DeWitt Clinton HS grad James Baldwin with discussions, panels, screenings, and wellness focusing on a wide range of literary works and ideas.
If you have any questions, please get in touch with Ron Kavanaugh, executive director of the Literary Freedom Project, at ron@literaryfreedom.org or 347-454-2161. Download LFP information PDF
